Everything You Need for a Comfortable Stay
This House Guide has been created to help you enjoy your stay at Now Apartments in a simple and worry-free way.
Here you will find all the essential information on how to use the apartment, appliances and the best practices to follow during your stay. If you have any questions or need assistance at any time, our staff is always at your disposal.
Keys and Access
- The key set includes:
- one large key for the apartment door
- one small key for the main entrance door of the building
- At check-out, we kindly ask you to leave the keys on the living room table inside the apartment.
- Please always make sure that the main entrance door of the building is properly closed when entering or leaving.
Electricity and Switches
- The main electrical switch for each apartment is located on the ground floor, through the door on the left. Inside the cabinet you will find the main circuit breakers.
- To avoid power outages, please do not use multiple high-consumption appliances at the same time (for example, air conditioning and hair dryer, or dishwasher and oven).
Heating and Air Conditioning
- Heating is remotely controlled. If you would like a different temperature setting, please inform our staff.
- If you wish to use warm air, simply change the mode on the air conditioning remote control by selecting the sun symbol instead of the snowflake.
Coffee Machine
- The coffee machine provided is an Illy Y3.
- It features two buttons:
- long coffee
- espresso
- Lift the flap, insert the capsule, close it and press the desired button.
- If the used capsule drawer is full, you may remove and empty it (this operation is usually handled by our staff).
Dishwasher
- Insert the detergent tablet into the lower compartment.
- Press the power button and select the short cycle.
- If you prefer, our staff can also take care of this service for you.
Kitchen and Cooktop
- Never place hot pots or pans directly on the kitchen countertop. Always use the sink or a suitable heat-resistant surface.
- Please open cabinets and drawers gently. If you experience any difficulty, contact our staff without forcing them.
- The induction cooktop is equipped with a safety lock:
- press the button with the lock symbol to unlock it
- place the pot on the cooktop
- select the desired temperature
- once cooking is finished, switch off the main control
Iron
- An iron and ironing board are available upon request.
- After use, please always unplug the iron for safety reasons.
Tea and Hot Beverages
- A stainless steel saucepan is available for preparing tea or herbal infusions.
- An electric kettle is not provided for safety reasons.
Shower
- In most showers you will find:
- one control to adjust hot and cold water
- a central control to activate the overhead shower
- Some showers feature a single mixer, making operation even easier.
TV and Multimedia Content
- To access international channels and streaming platforms, you can connect the TV or your personal device to the Internet.
